Here in Vancouver we’ve had a pretty sunny summer.  In my opinion it has been especially sunny and hot this past weekend.  The weather can be compared to the process of writing a book.  There can be changes in the temperature over various periods of the process.  In many ways the Recovery Narrative Project is transitioning from one part of the process into another and therefore things seem to be heating up.  The writing and editing may be done but that is just part of what it takes to get the book to the bookshelves.  I am so grateful to the other Members of this writing circle because completing this collaborative anthology has been a real learning exercise.  I am trying to enjoy the ride but there is often many things to do too.
