Can’t bear a whole year without the Writers Festival?

We’re back for An Evening with David Sedaris (November 1 at 7pm at The Centre). Back in Vancouver by popular demand, David Sedaris will read selections from his latest work including never before published stories. Tickets available through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.ca or 604-280-3311) – use the code “writers” to help support the Writers Festival!

And, when wordsmiths and musicians hit the stage for Spoken World (February 18 at 7:30pm at Performance Works), get ready for an evening of sensory overload. Sal Ferreras, his chameleonic band Poetic License, and VJ Candelario Andrade make the magic happen with Ivan E. Coyote, Shane Koyczan, Ariana Waynes and Skeena Reece in a literary evening that shifts beyond words and music into a brave new artistic realm. Tickets available through Vancouver Tix by phoning 604-629-8849 or online at www.vancouvertix.com.
