Given the certainty of ill health (whether emotional or mental) at some point in our lives, it seems essential to philosophise on the nature of health. They say you know health when you no longer have it. But is health merely the absence of illness? Western psychology and medicine, contrary to popular belief, are merely one model or philosophy of health among others. And are there ways in which our philosophy of health is itself ill or flawed? And what is emotional and mental health really? And evening of exploration and discovery.
