(Topic: Walking to Wellness)

A joint Vancouver Coastal Health and Coast Foundation program to inform and inspire mental health consumers, their families, friends, partners and health care professionals.

What:

§ The theme for this session is Walking to Wellness, where participants speak about their experience of walking the Vancouver Sun Run.

§ Hear success stories from other consumers who have completed the Sun Run.

§ 5 or 6 people will share the process they went through to be successful in: exercise, the arts, comedy, volunteering, going to school, singing in a choir, practicing meditation, being a peer support worker and other kinds of work.

§ A time for questions and answers at the end.
