Storytelling:
Writing Story, Telling Story
It is through story that we discover and shape our sense of self and
others. Using a combination of written and oral exercises, participants
are supported to mine their experience, imagination, and passion to
create stories that sing. We look at how to craft a tale for oral
presentation. Focus is on maintaining audience attention through the use
of lively spoken language, clarity, and emotional accessibility. /$239 (

Teaching storytelling brings together Helen Mintz’s two great loves,
teaching and performance. A storyteller and theatrical performer,
