Vermillion Skies by Brian Farrell

Vermilion Skies

Vermilion skies
White butterflies
The walls begin to speak
Raging torrent of tumultuous thought
Rushing through my mind
Hoping that they could be of
Some other kind

Searching for the tranquility
That unconsciousness or death
May provide
The serenity of death is
A goal that I embrace
Vermilion skies
White butterflies
The walls no longer speak
